Jayson Global Roofing Inc. has always been a proud family business. It began in the late 1980s as 4 Jay Roofing Systems Inc., founded by John Bunce in Edmonton. His goal was simple: to build a roofing company that delivered high-quality products and exceptional service to both new home builders and homeowners needing roof replacements or renovations. The original name, “4 Jay,” came from the four J’s in the Bunce family—John, his wife Joy, their son Jonathan, and their daughter Jennifer.

In 1995, Jonathan Bunce became the sole owner and rebranded the company as Jayson Roofing (J-son), continuing his father’s commitment to quality and customer care. In 2011, Jayson Roofing merged with Global Roof Systems, another respected, family-owned roofing and exteriors business in Edmonton. The new partnership formed Jayson Global Roofing Inc., united by shared values of integrity, craftsmanship, and service.

Over the years, we’ve proudly served homeowners, builders, developers, property managers, and insurance companies throughout the Edmonton area. Our certified tradespeople bring decades of experience and a dedication to doing the job right.

Now, we’re excited to bring that same level of expertise and commitment to Calgary. With our new location, we look forward to building strong relationships in southern Alberta and helping even more customers protect what matters most—their homes and families.
